Frequently Asked Questions

Why You Should Buy From Us

Like you, we love cashmere and fine woolens. We promise the products you buy from us will be among the best and softest you’ve ever felt, or we’ll refund your money, guaranteed. (see below) We use the finest of raw materials and we manufacture the garments ourselves, so we have complete control over their quality.

We’re not a big company — far from it — but we assure you our products are as fine as those carrying well-known brand names. But because Tinker Knitwear is a boutique operation, your garment will be a limited edition item.

Return Policy

We stand behind our products 100% and your satisfaction is guaranteed. If you are dissatisfied for any reason, please return your merchandise for an exchange or refund.

Write to us and include the order number, the item you are returning, and the reason for your return. We’ll provide you with return information and a return authorization number to include with your return.

Shipping Policies

We use the U.S. Postal Service for shipping our products and offer three options — USPS Economy, USPS Priority Mail, and USPS Express Mail. The cost will depend on where you are located and how quickly you want your package to arrive. Most orders are shipped within 24 hours of your order being placed.

In the United States, Express Mail usually arrives the next day after shipping. Priority Mail will take 1-3 days, and First-Class Mail will also take 1-3 days. Internationally, delivery times vary. Global Express Mail takes 3-5 days after shipping. Global Priority Mail takes 4-6, and Global Airmail will take 4-7 days.

Is My Transaction Secure?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, which are processed through PayPal, a division of eBay. We choose to use PayPal because it’s a cost-effective and secure way for a small business like ours to accept credit cards.

From the PayPal Web Site: “The security of your information, transactions, and money is the core of our business and our top priority at PayPal.
PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). Before you even register or log in to our site, our server checks that you’re using an approved browser - one that uses SSL 3.0 or higher.

Once your information reaches us, it resides on a server that is heavily guarded both physically and electronically. Our servers sit behind an electronic firewall and are not directly connected to the Internet, so your private information is available only to authorized computers.”
